My Turn Performance Arts Collective announces auditions for “Awakened” by Michelle Lucchesi
A touching drama about the impacts and perpetuation of, and repentance from, misogynistic attitudes.
August 18, 2024, 6 p.m.
Restoration 58:12 Church of the Nazarene, St. Louis.
Synopsis
Max, with a history of objectifying and exploiting women, awakens to the reality of the personhood of each woman. Jonathon is awakened to the possibility of his own impure motives when accused of such, which leaves him socially paralyzed. And Lily is awakened to her social self-determination.
